Green Bay Packers at New England Patriots NFL 2015 preseason live stream: time, TV channel, how to watch online
The New England Patriots open their NFL preseason as defending Super Bowl champions on Thursday, Aug. 13, as they host the Green Bay Packers at 6:30 p.m. Central Time.
NFL Network will broadcast the game, with live streaming available on NFL Preseason Live. You can also track the game on social media on Twitter @NFL and @nflnetwork.
The biggest storyline of the game will be the "will he or won't he?" play of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. New England will have to rely on backup qb Jimmy Garoppolo as Brady sits out his suspension for Deflate Gate. But will he play at all in the preseason? We'll see.
(In last year's preseason, Garoppolo went 46-for-79 or 58.2 percent for 618 yards, five touchdowns and one interception.)
Don't expect to see much of Green Bay stars like Aaron Rodgers and Eddie Lacy either, but that doesn't mean it isn't a game to watch.
Many think it will be a preview of postseason play to come; any time you get a game with such powerhouses, it gives fans a taste of what's to come.
The rest of the preseason lineup for Thursday night looks like this:
Saints at Ravens, 6:30 p.m. (syndicated)
Packers at Patriots, 6:30 p.m., NFL Network
Jets at Lions, 6:30 p.m.
Dolphins at Bears, 7 p.m.
Redskins at Browns, 7 p.m.
Cowboys at Chargers, 9 p.m., NFL Network
